What this is

The V-Choux Hub is the community site of V-Choux Labs. It is free to use. Signing in means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Your account

One account per person, and it stays yours: do not lend it, do not sell it, do not sign in as somebody else.

You need a Google account whose email address Google has verified. We refuse the rest, because an unverified address is not proof of anything.

Pick a nickname that you would be happy to read out loud. We can change one that impersonates someone or that is there to hurt people.

How to behave

Be decent. No harassment, no hate, no threats, nothing illegal, nothing that belongs to somebody else.

Do not attack the Hub: no probing it for holes, no scraping it wholesale, no automating your way around the limits.

If you find a security problem, please write to hub@vchoux.com before telling anyone else. We will thank you properly.

Cookies, levels and badges

The cookies you earn are points in a game. They are not money, they cannot be exchanged for money, and they have no value outside the Hub.

We can correct a balance that was earned by exploiting a bug. We will tell you when we do.

What you write here

What you write stays yours. By posting it on the Hub you let us show it here, and nothing more.

We can remove something that breaks these rules.

What we do not promise

The Hub is offered as it is. We do our best to keep it up and correct, and sometimes it will be down or wrong.

The Academy section is there to teach, not to be authoritative. Do not build anything important on it alone.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you want, and ask for your account to be deleted.

We can suspend or close an account that keeps breaking these rules. Except in serious cases we will tell you why first.

When this changes

A change that matters gets a new version here with a new date, and we ask you to accept it again. Keep using the Hub after a small correction and you accept it.
